Dear Residents, Friends, and Families,
We are updating that we have another staff member at Thompson House who is positive for covid19. This is not a direct care staff member. Contact tracing indicates that there is very low risk of transmission to residents. We are following VDH recommendations and remaining vigilant with symptom monitoring. Residents remain asymptomatic and negative at this time.
As always, we have ample supply of rapid tests and encourage any visitor who would like to test to simply ask upon arrival to the building. We ask for staff, residents, and visitors, to continue with good cough etiquette, refrain from visiting when sick, social distancing, mask wearing, and hand hygiene.
