Hello Friends and Families,
As you are aware, the majority of Vermont counties remain at high levels of Covid transmission.
At Thompson House we have had 2 nurses test positive. All Residents on the mid-level where the nurses worked have tested negative today, and will be tested again this week. We are closely monitoring for signs and symptoms of Covid each shift.
Please remain vigilant when out in the community if you are attending large gatherings. Practice the normal precautions such as handwashing, testing with any symptoms, and consider not visiting if you are feeling ill.
We are seeing community exposure in our staff and are working diligently to prevent an outbreak to our Residents. Our next vaccine clinic is scheduled for October 25th. Please reach out with any questions.
